Performance Cast Camshaft Bearing with Phosphor Bronze Bushing including two mounting screws.
Most BMW's have aluminum camshaft bearings which wear easily. In addition, aluminum expands about twice as much as steal when heated and may cause the camshaft to deflect when the valve is lifted out and create valve clearance.
The camshaft bearing is cast, then CNC machined and runs with little play, significantly reducing valve noise. The perfect addition to a performance cam shaft upgrade!
NOTE: Heat the block to 60° Celsius / 140° Fahrenheit for installation.
