Application Table

This remanufacturered starter is a quality product remanufactured to Original Equipment Specifications. We also carry new BOSCH starter maintenance and repair parts such as brushes, brush springs, bushings, solenoids, drives, field coils and armatures.

IMPORTANT: Ensure you are installing the starter with the correct # of gear teeth on the starter drive to match the model year and ring gear installed on the engine. (If the incorrect starter is installed it will damage the new starter and / or the ring gear!)

The 93-Tooth Ring Gear is used with the 8-Tooth 0.5Kw Airheads models (1970-1976) with Starter Part No: 0 001 157 005 and 0.6Kw with Starter Part No: 0 001 157 015. The 111-Tooth Ring Gear is used with the 9-Tooth 0.7Kw Airhead models (1977-1987) with Starter Part No: 0 001 157 023
