Improved 5th Spur Gear 17.5°, 63mm OD x 17mm thick for the 5 Speed Gearbox - not available from BMW.

The wider gear will increase your top end speed and improve your fuel economy at normal speeds.

NOTE: In 04/1982 the gear angles were changed from 15° and were then machined at 17.5° and were marked with an "X" on the output shaft gear. Please ensure that you are replacing the 17.5° gear only (Not the 15° gear).
