Before bleeding the brakes, replace the grub screw with a bleed screw as follows:
  1. Support the motorcycle on its center stand.
  2. Wet some rags and place them around the filler adaptor on the caliper.
  3. Carefully loosen and remove the grub screw from the end of the filler adapter and replace it with a bleed screw. Tighten the bleed screw and wipe up fluid that escaped during the procedure.
  4. Bleed the brakes.
  5. Remove the bleed screw and reinstall the grub screw tighten to 10Nm or 88 in-lb.
