Installation of a new Alternator Clutch Seal on Intermediate Housing:

  • When replacing the seal, remove the circlip with circlip pliers and carefully pry out the old seal without damaging the housing.
  • Tap in the new seal using a suitably sized socket until it bottoms out against the circlip.
