White silicone O-ring 10- pack for ALL BMW R Airhead Oil Filters with or without Oil Cooler. Often referred to as the $2,000 O-ring. Replacement of this O-ring is crucial; if there is not sufficient compression from the cover upon the O-ring, canister lip oil pressure is lost and catastrophic engine failure can occur due to oil pressure loss.

Technical Information:
Unlike original equipment BMW nitrile rubber O-rings, EME features silicone compound for increased longevity under high heat and high oil pressure conditions.

Benefit:
Silicone material resists compression & heat better than the original nitrile material.
Heat resistance: Up to 400°F (204°C)
Cold flexibility: Down to approximately –75°F (–59°C ) 
Chemical resistance: Engine and transmission oil
Because these o-rings are manufactured using silicone they may be re-used.
