The fuel screen must be attached to the base of the fuel pump with the arrow on the screen lining up with the arrow on the pump - this will ensure that the fuel return line is correctly aligned to pass through the notch in the pump base plate.

NOTE APPLICABLE K BIKE MODEL DATE RANGE:

  • This 52 mm fuel screen basket with the fuel return inlet applies to K models from 05/1985-to 01/1993.
  • Pre 5/1985 K100 models require a different screen without the fuel return line, see EME Part # FP-576ScreenA and related products below.
  • The K75 & K1100 models only use this pump screen up to 01/93 (as indicated in the Application Table)
