Application Table

Operating Instructions:

Insert a 9V Battery
Unplug the Hall Trigger Sensor from the wiring harness
Ensure that the piston is locked at Top Dead Center.
Connect the Halltester to the Hall Trigger Sensor
Turn on the Halltester by depressing the button. The green light will shine and the tester is unit is now ready for use
Rotate the hall sensor plate to the point where the red light shines - indicating the point of ignition.
Note - if the light does not switch from red to green when turning the rotor then your Hall Sensor is defective.
Be advised that working on the ignition requires special precautions due to very high voltages - always see a professional if you encounter problems
