Replacement electronic voltage regulator with metal housing. Bolt-on replacement. ADJUSTABLE voltage setting allows maximizing of the charging system for urban operation / slow , low RPM engine speed

Power Rating: 14.3 Volts; can be adjusted to higher voltage, simply turn the small screw on the regulator in a clockwise direction to obtain HIGHER voltage, to decrease, turn counter-clockwise. Can also be adjusted lower but should not go below 13.7 Volts as this may not be sufficient to overcome the internal resistance of the battery.

Technical Information: Pre-set at 14.3 Volt trim setting; Adjustable voltage setting allows for optimizing the correct voltage for lower RPM urban operation. Must be used with caution as over charging with higher voltage setting can and will damage a battery.

Testing of Voltage Regulator: Bridging the D+ and DF connectors on the Regulator Plug should result in an approximately 16 volt voltage reading at the battery with the engine running and a properly functioning rotor, stator, and diode board / rectifier.
